Are F1 Savannahs friendly?

Generally about 50% of F1 savannah kittens can be homed without no major behavior issues such as anxiety and timidness. At our cattery we regime them to our second cattery to make sure they are not placed without any behaviorally issues, we call this phase 2. Once corrected, these kittens are extremely loving and affectionate, social and easy to handle. Be careful of getting a young kitten that exhibits any of these signs, if not corrected the kitten will grow into a very timid and shy cat. Not to worry however, at a young age these behaviors can be corrected through numerous different training methods. To correct aggressive behavior in a young kitten, make sure to place them in a very small room with multiple interactions throughout the day at their own pace. When ready move the kitten into your room, scruff and cradle your baby when able. Through multiple interactions like this a day while giving your baby space and time along with other methods this behavior can be corrected.
